Through week 6 Bama had only completed 9 passes inside the hash marks. More than 2/3rds of all passes thrown were behind the LOS or within 9 yards of the LOS. Bama has thrown somewhere around 40 passes behind the LOS.

Looking at actual passes.. through week 6.. Hurts is 58/110 for 939 yards, 6 TDs, 2 INT. He didn't have a great game throwing the ball against Tenn (0 TD, 1 INT) and his stats probably took a step back overall.

Dude can run with the best of them though.. and more importantly he seems like a leader.

Been some pretty bad drops in some games though.

Unfortunately for other teams, Hurts is improving as a player, and there's no reason to think he won't stay on his current trajectory. He's already good enough to win Bama a championship as is, though.
