I understand why he did it but he's stupid for letting the best QB they've had since Tebow by far just walk out the door imo

I agree with you by and large but look at it like this: When a guy gets popped, especially a Freshmen (RS), and he's the starter, we're not getting more quarterback recruits for a long time because they know they're not going to beat him out.

Honestly, Grier is a really, really good quarterback.

So we lose out on those recruits, they transfer or simply never commit.

Then he gets popped again, maybe by accident, anything can happen.

Then we're fricked, no quarterbacks, no one really targeted and we're just fricked over.

With LDR, he's not destroying it. There are Freshmen who, if good enough, could easily start.

We're rebuilding, and we just can't afford to take him on, man.

I agree with what Coach McElwain said. Trusting someone in the day and age we live in is probably the hardest thing to do. When that trust is broken, even if it was honestly an accident, it's even harder to recover. And you can't let one man damage the rep for your whole team, no matter how good he is.

Bull fricking shite. We had LDR and Trask before Grier failed that test. Take this BS elsewhere. UF gets fricked because Mac can't sell UF for shite.
