It's funny how you Florida fans only pick up the story AFTER Foley threw a tantrum like a little child and cancelled the game.

I think the lack of empathy from LSU is what was the most surprising thing in the whole episode. And I am talking about the entirety of the LSU community. Fans, coaches, players, AD, admins, news media. Literally all facets that represent LSU seemed to not care at all about Florida. On top of zero spirit of cooperation, insults were hurled at UF. This type of stuff is understandable on a message board, but not from respected folks who are running things and have been around these types of events before. And I understand LSU is having a tough year, but you would think that would even further the understanding, not lessen it.

Offering to fly in, play the game on Sunday or Monday (At UF's discretion), and fly out so they don't take up any hotel rooms that may be needed is a "lack of empathy" and "zero spirit of cooperation"?

Right.

Troll.

LSU was WAY out in front of this trying to make sure the game would be played - at Gainesville if possible. Why are you ignoring that?

Troll. We care. We care to share. We wanted to play the game in Gainesville for y'all. Why are you ignoring that fact?

Why are you ignoring ALL WEEK leading up to the storm? LSU was BENDING OVER BACKWARDS to get this game played in Gainesville. But in these days where everyone has ADD, no one can remember what LSU was doing before the storm actually hit.

Why wouldn't Foley budge on moving the game to Sunday or Monday in Gainesville? If he had listened to Alleva, the game would've been played in Gainesville, no one would lose a home game, and none of this shite would STILL be getting brought up over and over on the board.

This could have all been avoided in Foley had just agreed to postpone the game to Monday night as Alleva had suggested.

Why didn't he?

That probably explains the lack of empathy. LSU gave Foley EVERY opportunity to schedule the game on Monday in Gainesville - but he refused to cooperate. Then he comes out and accuses LSU of not cooperating?

What a fricking hypocrite.
