It's a tough habit to break. Unfortunately, I never sat and taught my son. He never played football and ended up wrestling in High School. He loved it and was very good at it. Could/should have wrestled in college, but wanted to study hard, get out of college early and go to work. I can't complain. He has done well for himself, and i am very proud of him.
