I mean unless there's a Hurricane threating NOLA/Louisiana, in which case, I'm sure y'all will be more than willing to move the game to Gainsville, correct?

LSU's true rival is Ole Miss and has been Ole Miss for a very long time

Oh, I don't know. If only there was an example in the past of LSU having to follow through with a backup plan due to a natural disaster.
You can pick up your mic now

I assume you're referring to the 2005 game where you went to Tempe to play unranked Arizona State (who combined for 5 losses that year)?
So you're comparing an in-conference game against #22 Florida to... Arizona State? Oh wow, how brave of you! Friggin Lionheart over there!
If the opponent were Vandy, both teams would agree to go play at Vandy, but it's not. It's Florida and there's the rub.

Yep, we forget so much....like how many wins you have in a row
Man, the 90's were unkind to us. 9 Florida victories total made a big difference. Thankfully, we were able to turn it around and go 9-7 in the last 16 years. Too bad we couldn't have made it 10-7 after tomorrow. Only a matter of time till we regain the lead again like we held up till the 90's came.
But LSU may never have a primary rival, just SEC traditional rival games, but nothing on the levels of an Iron Bowl, Egg Bowl, WLOCP, etc. The Florida series like the Auburn one has been one of my favorites because the games were always fun and competitive these past two decades.

Oh look. An Aggie in an LSU titled thread asking to be left alone.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm referring to
I want you to close your eyes and imagine these roles being reversed. A hurricane heading towards Louisiana, and LSU refusing to play Florida in Baton Rouge on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and also refusing to move to play in Gainesville, New Orleans, Mobile, etc. Basically anywhere besides LSU
How big of a trollfest is this site? How many threads are there calling out LSU as cowards ESPECIALLY given the narrative on this site for the past 5 years is that LSU is scared of playing Florida as a cross divisional rival.
You and me both know the answer. So Florida along with everyone else who's dickriding them for the sole reason of riling up the majority fanbase on this site can get fricked

So, admitting that you've lost 5 of the last 6 and that Tim Tebow was your QB when you last won in Baton Rouge is your idea of "making your point?"
Debate isn't your best subject, is it Corky?

And in that instance, I'd defend LSU just like I'm currently defending Florida and I know I'd damned sure defend Bama, if the roles were reversed.
Here's what it boils down to:
1) LSU wants to play this weekend, wherever and whenever, Saturday/Sunday/Monday. They want to play this because they appear to be the hotter team right now and because UF is injured.
2) Florida does not want to play this weekend because they have injuries to their main strength, the Defense. Florida would prefer to play this game at home (understandably) and at a later date.
Both schools have their own competitive advantage points to why they want to play, when they want to play. No one is right or wrong and that's why I'm not going to blame UF anymore than I am going to blame LSU.

How did you get this
from this
I was only pointing out that the UF-LSU series isn't as lopsided as you think it is, with one team winning early on and the other evening things out in the latter years.

So schedule doesn't mean shite and injuries can dictate when it needs to be played? Every other team affected by this storm found a way to play. Except for the snowflake Florida gators. And you're defending them because of injuries. GTFO with that. That makes them even more pathetic.
So LSU wants to play when it's scheduled and Florida wants to shuffle shite and make LSU and themselves lose out on revenue of another home game. But it's ok because injuries

Sigh. You completely spun what I said. I said I'm defending them for doing what's in their own self interest. LSU is doing the same. Bama would do the same, if it involved them.

This is what blows my mind. How anyone can defend this chicken shite move. We all understand why they are doing it. Any way you spin it it is a bitch way to represent the organization.
