Since Tenn fans won't say it I will. To be fair to Dobbs their receivers dropped a loootttt of passes the Saturday before yesterday. I didn't catch the game yesterday so I don't know how that went...

Dobbs does well at what Tenn ask him to do but the fact remains that he is not a complete QB. He is well below average at throwing the ball down the field with accuracy. Nuff said, except if he had that ability Tenn would be off the charts offensively. It is what it is.

I would say the QB that beat Georgia by 5 touchdowns a week ago and was up 45-0 and had to be yanked in the 3rd quarter so as to not humiliate the other team will be considered better over the guy who had to throw a Hail Mary into the endzone to beat them by miracle.

That's just my opinion, though.

QB Rating vs Power 5 Teams
1. Chad Kelly - 168.98
2. Austin Allen - 156.89
3. Josh Dobbs - 156.84
4. Jalen Hurts - 135.18
5. Austin Applby - 127.75
6. Danny Etling - 121.51
7. Sean White - 117.57
8. Jacob Eason - 114.44
9. Nick Fitzgerald - 114.40
10. Trevor Knight - 113.35
11. Perry Orth - 113.73
12. Drew Lock - 109.00
13. Brandon McIlwain - 97.24

Rushing vs P5 Teams (min 25 carries)
1. Trevor Knight - 7.3 YPC
2. Nick Fitzgerald - 6.9 YPC

4. Josh Dobbs - 5.1 YPC
5. Danny Etling - 3.6 YPC

7. Sean White
8. Jacob Eason
9. Danny Etling

Best 4 by far is Kelly, Allen, Knight, and Hurts. Pretty huge dropoff after that.

Dobbs is the best. Kelly is runner-up. Allen in 3rd. Oklahoma reject is already behind the true freshmen, Hurts and Eason.

Dobbs is only good as a runner. He's not a real QB.

Hurts ranks 3rd and 4th in your two criteria and you rank him 5th overall?

I think Hurts is having a very solid season, but I'd be concerned about his downfield throwing going forward. You could probably put him 4th ahead of Knight, though. I think he's definitely behind Dobbs, Kelly and Allen. That's pretty impressive for a true freshman.

No doubt. Hopefully he'll continue to improve as the season progresses, although it may not show up in the stats due to the increasing competition.
