Best memory was when I went to the Heart of Dallas Bowl at the Cotton Bowl in 2013 w/a friend to see Okie Light obliterate Purdue.

Took DART light rail to the stadium, walked up to the first scalper I saw and the dude tried to sell us tickets for $100 each and claimed the stadium would be sold out. In reality it was 48k announced in a 90k stadium but I doubt it was even that high since I'd been there the the year before when Houston played Penn State (Pedo Bear game) in front of 46k announced and that looked much fuller. Anyway, I laughed in his face and said he wasn't getting more than $30 for two and I didn't care where they were b/c I knew we'd be able to sit pretty much wherever we wanted.

He said no he couldn't do that for a sell out so I asked another scalper 15 feet away if he had heard my offer. He nodded and said he'd sell us his two worst seats for $20. The first guy immediately tried selling up two on the 50 for $30. I laughed again b/c I knew how bad the lower bowl seats are (first 15ish rows you'll be looking at the backs of players due to the stadium configuration) and happily handed the second guy a twenty.

We then waltzed in right at kickoff and sat on the 40 w/a random group of Okies who had smuggled in some whiskey and were kind enough to pass it around so long as we bought them cokes to mix it with. Okie Light won the game 58-14.
