Not true at all. Bernie Kosar was from Ohio, Vinny Testaverde was from NY/NJ, and Gino Torretta was from California. Yes, a lot of their talent was from Dade/Broward/Palm Beach counties but their recruiting footprint was much bigger. In state, Jerome Brown and Warren Sapp were from the center of the state. This State of Miami stuff is overblown.
