Seems like he didn't get to "choose" anyone unless LSU hired some coach for Yaw Yaw that I don't know about.
Seems like he was only given the option to be the hatchet man, which should be Joe's job.
The ADs usually are the fall guy so the coaches can keep clean hands, but obviously that is expecting too much out of Joe.
Watching yall spin it as competence is the only fun part about this.

He got to choose to keep Cam (continuity) or promote one of the other offensive staffers

Joe just fired the most successful coach in LSU history. That he would have a problem firing Cam fricking Cameron after that is a laughable notion
