I didn't read any quote where Chavis said that he left because the admin never offered to remove the Les Miles clause. The court documents are plain. Look at the article that I linked.

LSU offered to remove the Les Miles clause and pay Chavis more than he's currently being paid at A&M. That's according to sworn deposition.

Yep, the AD and miles flew to Chavis's house and begged him not to go

I was commenting on what the poster said about a narrative that was going around that Chavis left because "Miles constantly put his defense in a bad position all game" etc. clearly Chavis got out because he didn't trust the admin. Good for him; sounds like it was a toxic environment and I don't blame him for hauling arse.
