This is what it all boils down to and we know it. Gus's O is too simple, from everything from his route trees, to the blocking schemes, to the limited number of plays. You take the artificial complexity of the RPOs away and it's an uber talented high school offense. But it wasn't always that way. All those plays used to be masked in misdirection and shifts back in the Chris Todd and Tulsa days. It's just too easy for defenses to gameplan against nowadays and until Gus changes that they're gonna continue to run into brick walls every play. It really could look worse if we didn't have athletes like Kerryon, Kyle Davis, and Kam Pettway making it look good every now and then.

The fact we don't have a TE is glaring when we get in the red zone.

Art Briles on the coaching staff would be huge for Gus imo, if he's willing to listen and adjust, and after his press conference Tuesday I think he's ready to change something.
