Since when is that some important requirement? They happen to have several decent programs in state, and two historically outstanding ones.

I've never understood the whole "Florida won't leave their state" argument. Why should they go to the expense of travelling farther, and deprive the fans of in state rivalries, just so they can say the "traveled out of state"?

I don't get it either. Travel > strength of opponent?

I do wish we played a PAC-12 team or UCF or USF instead of a cupcake, would be a decent opener.

It doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but I'm sure we will hear a lot of it in the lead up to the Michigan game next year as that stat is brought up over and over again.
