As for Jalen - he definitely struggled throwing the ball. I don't think Kiffin's plan really got Jalen in a groove, and then things snowballed.

However, like we've said, his poise and ability to not let things shake him helped us win the game. We went down 24-3 (and he was not playing well and the offense was a mess) and he calmly hit Coop 20 yards down field then ran us into position to score.

I understand the concept of keeping Stew and Ridley on separate sides of the field for simplicity, but those guys appear to be our best blockers on the perimeter.

I wonder if Stew hadn't gotten hurt if we would have started lining them up on the same side. I am pretty sure it has been reported that both guys know all the receiver positions, so I guess that's another trump card we have for use later in the season...
