Just made a post I bout this. I love this schedule. Not as a fan but for the team it sets up pretty nice.

Not a fan of Bama and Auburn on the road back to back after a bye between the Cal road game. Only five road games and we end up on the road in 3 straight. Sons of walmart t-shirts.

Those asshats need to quit making up the schedule.

Auburn could be implementing a new system and coach.

How many people do the HippieBears bring to a home football game? I would love to bury that place in Red.

So, I looked it up. Last year, they open their season against Grambling, and they draw a very solid 60,000 (against a capacity of 62,000). They run off 5 straight victories to start the season. And then Washington State comes to town for a Pac-12 Conference showdown....and 42,000 show for that one.

Solid fan base, Cal.

At least we get a bye week in between one of the 3 weeks

Love this Schedule.

The only hiccups are back to back away in The State of Alabama.
And a 5 day turn around for egg bowl.

What is states schedule before the egg bowl?

Like quite a few other Pac-12 teams they generally have at least 10k maybe more seats empty for every home game. We don't have anywhere near the number of fans as Ohio State but when Ohio State went to Cal some years ago they made it a home game.

This is a cozy schedule. Plus I can easily get to the Cal game.

I'm going to the Texas - Cal game this weekend so I'll get a better idea of what Cal CommieBears home games are like

National Champions

Every year has a few tough weeks, but this is about as easy as I can remember we ever had it. Sure as frick better than this year. We're a lock, Rebs win the ship.

They will be bruised up for sure.

Love the first 3 games for Shea.

I feel like this is very unlikely. Auburn is probably going to have a good season. They won't be playing Clemson every week.

And they could have won that game if they had stopped the musical chairs at QB

The back to back weekends in the Yellowhammer State (and to a lesser extent the three consecutive road games) is the only real knock I can put on this schedule as far as our outlook is concerned. On paper, looks like the most manageable schedule Freeze has gotten so far.

I don't understand how LSU doesn't play any consecutive road games (assuming the bye between Ole Miss and Bama counts as a break from being on the road).
