Not a troll. Just watching the JSU replay..Their whole DL looks undisciplined and out of shape. Their defense as a whole look like a bunch of p*ssies. Just my observation.

They have looked like that ever since 2008.

You're watching the wrong film. We'll look like NC contenders when we play Auburn.

57 Godchaux was projected first round pick hasn't been a factor yet this season. May be too small to play true NT and too big/not athletic enough for DE. 49 Key the looks a lot smaller, has thinned down to play 3-4 OLB and has not been as effective.

I don't think JSU was an accurate indicator of what this team can do. These OOC Div 1A games are always bad for LSU because the crowd is never really into the game and as such the team is over confident and plays like they are sleepwalking....this happens a lot for LSU , see Towson State a few years ago and even ULL some years back.
If the Tiger Stadium atmosphere is electric, the team generally plays really well no matter Les' ineptitude. I personally think the fan base and the players are not over the Wisconsin loss yet and they need to put it behind them. Losing to the top defense in Div. 1 from last year is nothing to be ashamed of

i thought the defense was pretty decent. LSU has big issues on offense and special teams (although they were improved this week).

i can understand other reasons but you're saying after starting the season ranked 5 and losing your opening game and alllllllllllllll the drama that ensued after, that your team sleepwalked in the following game? bless you all if that's the case.

Playing a 3-4 this year, so LSU has inserted a couple of fat options at NT. This spot might have been occupied by a Senior who had a season-ending injury in camp.
Other than the starting NT playing on skates for short spurts and the backup getting tired and playing too high, the D-Line has been strong.

Key has been fine. All over the place.
Don't think he thinned down. He put on 12 lbs from what I read

Must be leaner. Seeing him in person in Lambeau i remember thinking he looked kinda thin for such a tall/large frame.
6'6 238. Would like to see him at around 265
