I'm really not sure. My hope is that the Clemson game plan was a teaching moment that wrinkles do not work. Seems that he learned that lesson.

How can he watch that Clemson tape and think Johnson or JF have earned additional touches?

Wrinkles are generally good. They keep defenses from knowing what you're going to do.

Problem is, what Gus did week 1 was not wrinkles. It was massive crazy mad scientist experiments.
