That's cool. I've never seen that break down of Kentucky before. I didn't realiz how many different regions there are within the state.
Knoxville is on the edge of the Ridge and Valley and Blue Ridge sub regions I guess. The R&V & Cumberland plateau is surrounded by ridges between 1 - 3,500 ft. in elevation and border counties that are in the Blue Ridge section with mountains at 6k ft. + Definitely deep Appalachia![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)
