Tennessee needed OT against an Appalachian State team that went 11-2 last season.

Arkansas beat a Louisiana Tech team by 1 that had 9 wins the previous 2 seasons.

Florida beat UMASS 24-7. UMass went 3-9 last season. They allowed 20 points or fewer 6 times (Florida International, Kent State, Ball St., Akron, Eastern Michigan)

UMASS was picked 127th out of 128 teams in a poll of all FBS teams. Florida has ridiculous problems on offense and they're gradually losing the defensive players that Muschamp put into place. I think it will be a long season for Florida.

One does sometimes get the feeling that their survive-and-advance, survive-and-advance approach will end up exactly like the coyote finally realizing he's been running in mid-air.

We allowed a 15 point comeback in the 4th to send the game to OT against a VERY average UCLA team. Ugly UGLY win.

We will be lucky to win 5 more.

I don't understand why you would talk trash about UF. Arkansas played a LT team that basicly lost every key player from last year , played their Backup QB and you still only won by 1 point.

Surely you jest. Tennessee won only because Appalachian State missed an extra point (scored 2 touchdowns to 1 for UT in regulation). Appalachian State's 11 awesome wins last year were against teams like Howard, Old Dominion, and Georgia State. I think they have been in the major college division 2 years now.

Worst win >>>>> Loss

At this point, I'd take a crappy loss over App St. than a close loss to Clemson or Texas.

Tennessee keeps winning, App St. will be moot.

Auburn and Notre Dame can keep winning too, but their losses will still be in the conversation.

A win is a win no matter the score you win by.
Just win baby!!!!!

You lost me at the think part pal...but let me enlighten you....this game was NEVER in doubt....we threw the ball 49 times to give our young QB Del Rio plenty of timing reps...we had almost 5 yds a carry also in a driving freaking monsoon. UMass had 180 yds TOTAL and a 1.3 per avg carry rushing and a grand total of 46 yds rushing and if not aided by 35 yds in flags they would have never scored.

This was more of a spring game than our spring game..dont let the score fool you and why dont you watch the whole game before shooting off? Our defense creamed them.

Now go eat some raw pork....your womenz are fat and ugly.

I'll ask Jeremy at brunch tomorrow to cancel the rest of the season.

Arky... SURVIVING at home... by 1.

Tenn OT over App St.

Florida over UMass

ALL about equal in my opinion. None of this will matter anyway because none of these teams are winning the SEC. They all have problems.

I disagree, our defense is legit. Our offense is mediocre. But with a defense like we have, you don't need an explosive offense. Plus you clowns only scored 21 vs La. Tech. And you're still R-kansas.

Arkansas fans shouldn't really be making fun of any other teams that won this week. We barely beat La Tech at home on a clear day. Enjoy the close W quietly.

As an LSU fan, I'm more scared of Auburn than Florida right now.

Not that both can't beat us. Not that we can't beat both.

In the end, it's been one week, and a whole lot of shite can change between now and the end of the month.

UMass was definitely the worst team of the bunch, however UF did pull away late at least and were never in any danger of actually losing.
