I was looking at the participation report from last nights game to see what freshman played. I was surprised to see Aaron Robinson, Jared Mayden, Terrell Hall and T.J. Simmons. Looks like the only redshirt in the secondary will be Knott.
Interesting that Mac Wilson did not play.
Ben Davis, Quinnen Williams, Reakwon Davis, Miller Forristall, Irv Smith, Deonte Brown, Chris Owens, and Scott Lashley aparently still have the option to redshirt.

Pretty sure Forristall played.
And Mac Wilson played on special teams per BOL.

When Cam sims went down, they probably had to play TJ Simmons.

Yea saw Foristall. I thought you could play the first game and still get redshirted as a freshman.

I Remember coach Saban a couple of years ago saying that they had kinda gotten away from best player plays and that they were gonna get back to that so I think that is just what we are seeing .

Also Jonah Williams played well.....outside of that early sack on Barnett

Correct me if I'm wrong... But I'm pretty sure a walk on #38 Wallace was getting snaps in the third quarter. Kind of surprised it wasn't one of those freshman DB's first.
Kind of forgot about R. Davis... Still no word from the NCAA? He would be a guy that could help the DL depth.
