Imagine his stats if we had run a little more off tackle. But when you can get 4 up the middle over and over you take it.

quote:So you are saying Chubb has the same quickness, cutting ability and explosiveness he had pre injury? On the long speed, he may not have lost much, but he definitely looked slower than he did pre injury, no doubt about it. If you watch how sudden he makes his moves last year vs last game, there is a big difference. I would imagine he is closer to 90% or so and that is still better than most in college. Hopefully by the middle of the season he has his suddenness back to pre injury form.
You know what they say about opinions....yours sucks

I think you remember him faster. I don't think he has lost a step... I also don't think he is a 4.35 guy.
Posted on 9/4/16 at 9:13 am to Peter Buck
He averaged 6.9 yards per carry....

I was just googling more game stats and following the signs... And my laptop shut down on me with a windows update that went straight "33% Complete"
Posted on 9/4/16 at 9:31 am to deeprig9
Eason was 8/12....
That makes his completion percentage 66.666666666666666

Wtf about his TD run where he ran away from everyone?
Was that the one where the DB ran him down and almost pulled him out of bounds?

He didn't look as illusive or as quick. That's not a knock on him in the least...He looked phenomenal for someone 10 months removed from blowing up his knee. Or maybe I'd just turned him into Jesus in his absence.

This is bigger than we thought....
The exact latitudinal coordinate for the Ga Dome on the 33rd parallel ....
Add up the first six digits...
3+3+7+5+7+8= 33

I think he was being more careful and patient which made him seem slower. In all reality that's what has always amazed me about him. He seems like he shouldn't be as good as he is but the fricker slows everything down around him and finds every nook and cranny to run through. Must be some voodoo shite.

No, the one where the db had the angle and Chubb outran him anyway so his only choice was to try to shove him ob from behind.
Y'all are a bunch of dumbasses. The kid just went off 10 months post horrendous knee injury and you're griping that he's slow. GTFO!

Jesus was illusive.
Chubb is elusive.

I think I mentioned in my first post on this subject that Chubb would be better next game and in the future. I still say he was missing that top gear IN THIS GAME.

Chubb is fast, but he never has been a top end speed guy. His deal is vision, acceleration, and power. He is a high 4.4 guy. I think 4.47.
Gurley was high 4.3
Marshall was 4.25
You may be confusing them.

Nick Chubb is the most underrated RB in college football history

He has to be the front runner of the WAY to early Heisman race.
Posted on 9/4/16 at 2:34 pm to DrewDawg13
Chubb is #2 after one game behind an RB from UTEP with 249 yards on 31 carries.

Don't want any jinxes on the number thing Deeprig. So I won't mention the time on the clock when Eason first came in his first UGA game.

My favorite Chubb Heisman highlight so far was a run I believe at begining of 2nd quarter. He ran through a hole straight up the middle about 6 or 7 yards and a linebacker made the mistake of trying to hit him up high...Chubb comes to a stop, spins 360 degrees as the dude falls to the ground.....then re-accelerates full steam straight ahead for another 7 yards until gang tackled. I think his cleats may have ripped holes in the dome carpet with his acceleration on the second burst.

You're pretty sensitive. I wasn't griping. It was an observation. Are you just an unhappy human or did someone shite in your lunch? Or are you just plain old defensive about everything?
Complaining would've looked more like, "Gee I sure wish Nick Chubb was faster." I said he looked slow. Then I said when he gets his speed back, opponents will be in trouble. I realize the difference may be subtle for a retard but I'm hoping you'll see it.
Who am I kidding. I don't give a frick if you can read or not.
