It's not that uncommon for multiple players to cramp up in the first game of the season due to the heat and for the simple fact that it's the first game of the season.

It was 70 degrees. It was not hot at all.

No one cramped on their offense.

It was obvious if you were there what they were doing.

They also substituted slowly to prevent us snapping the ball.

Look I don't really blame them for it. You take whatever advantage you can get in a close game against a team with more talent.

They should still get called out for it though.

This is the problem with playing a good mid major. If you blow them out everyone expects it. If you struggle, well you get this kind of reaction, if you LOSE it's never forgotten.

Bottom line. We got a nice little slice of humble pie. Still got a W. Reminds me a lot of the 06 Air Force game albeit more of a defensive struggle than that one.
