He leads the SEC now with a 5.4 YPC and it would've been higher had some useless penalties not happened. 13 carries, 70 yards...but wait till y'all see this guy in space. If you watched his HS highlights you already know what I've been talking about.

Very impressed by his running tonight. We need a backup now to give him a breather because Williams ain't it.

That's why we aren't RS'ing Rico Dowdle. He needs more practice time to learn the blocking and plays, but once he does we are going to have a lot of speed and playmaking ability at RB.

Turner had a 40 yard run negated by a holding penalty on Bailey where the play went to the right side of the line away from the call, too. Bailey turned his defender, but it had no impact on the big run for AJ.

Helms did very well at C after his holding penalty on the first USC offensive play of the game.

Glad we went back to him in the second half. Couldn't figure out why we went away from him in the first.

Was very impressed with his ability to run through contact

I was really impressed with him, especially given he is a true freshman. Most important part to me was that he seemed to get stronger as the game went on. We will need someone else to step up and help out with the workload though, as his body just isn't ready to take a the pounding game in and game out yet.

I'm very hyped for this kid.

Turner looked very tough and quick last night. Totally pleased with his production and performance throughout the whole game. Just a solid RB, which is all you can ask for.

He's a tough kid - good vision. I still don't think he is an every down back but he might be the type of kid to prove me wrong.

He's a super talent though. He just needs to get stronger, gain a little weight .... but you know, there is no denying he is the kind of kid you want on your team. A hard worker - you cannot have enough of those.

I really like him.

For his size he really impressed me last night with his power. Finished off runs and fought through contact. Has nice hands as well outta the back field. He's starting over Williams mainly because of his effort throughout camp & it showed last night.
