We did win the East in '07. We had eventual national champion LSU on the ropes in the SECCG. Ainge threw two INTs to give that away.
That is when Coach Cutcliffe left for Duke. AD Hamilton panicked and fired Coach Fulmer and the rest is for the "Low lights" reel.

I meant not pan out for teams IN GENERAL. Not directed at Tennessee directly. The comment was grasped correctly by a prior Vol poster(s)
