Not really - I'm not saying we won't eventually lose 3 games or something, but I don't think the law of averages will have anything to do with it.

We recruit great players across the board, we generally lose a similar amount of talent each year just in different spots, we start new seasons with 2-3 position groups that are going to rely "new players" (soph-juniors who were 4 and 5 stars who have developed in the program).

Honestly, of all the years, the losses this year are covered up more so by the fact that their "backups" in prior years were huge contributors and elite players who have ALREADY proven themselves (DL, LB, CB).

I think, if they avoid key injuries up front, this defense will be the best we've had since 2011.

But who did we recruit thats going to help this year? Quinnon Williams is the only Dline man I know, Davis is not eligible, is Jamar King eligible? he's such a unknown its hard to even count on him to contribute...who else do we even have Dakota Ball the same guy that played TE the last two seasons, no disrespect but I dont think he could start on UK Dline...Jhonny Dwight, OJ Smith are they even SEC players? and thats all we have, any Alabama fan who doesnt see this as concerning have crimson in their eyes...I might be over looking someone.

I forgot Frazier
