Tomilson Payne Allen

Hand Frazier (unproven player)

That is 2 deep with 1 unproven player....

We def are not as deep as last year, idk if there has ever been a team as deep as we were at dline last year, but this team will be fine. Will be the fastest defense in the Saban era in my opinion..

They only guys we know without a doubt will be great are Allen and Payne. Tomlinson hasn't shown that much. Frazier is an unknown pretty much. Hand has gobs of potential but didn't jump out at you when he got in last year. I believe he takes the next step but it's still to be determined. Losing two NFL DTs will hurt us more than I think some Bama fans want to admit. Especially against the Arky and LSUs of the world. Reed was so damn good agasint the run last year.

I think our D is going to be great, but the loss of our two stud DTs with only one real proven replacement does give me cause for concern.

2011 Bama DL
Damion Square, Jesse Williams, Josh Chapman, Ed Stinson, Quinton Dial, Nick Gentry

2016 Bama DL
Dalvin Tomlinson, Daron Payne, Jon Allen, Da'Shawn Hand, Josh Frazier, OJ Smith, Jamar King, Dakota Ball

Think Bama's gonna be ok
