That's a decent TCU squad. TCU's rebuild won't be as bad as some think. They suffered major injuries in the beginning of their season last year (losing 5-6 defensive starters in the first 3 games), but they bring back 8 starters on defense and they'll look more like a Patterson defense.

Sometimes surviving is enough.

By the end of the 2015 regular season, TCU was playing without its two star receivers, its best defensive end, and seemingly most of its linebacking corps and secondary. The depth chart for the Alamo Bowl featured 17 freshmen and 12 sophomores. A backup strong safety had played middle linebacker for most of the year. Its star quarterback had missed time with injury and then got suspended for the bowl.

TCU 2016 Preview

I think Kenny Hill will have a sort of rebirth at TCU. With Turpin at WR, a bunch of young guys that got experience last year, and his coordinators and QB coach back, he might finish top 10 in the country in passing.

They do lose 4 on the OL and their best RB, but in a pass heavy league, TCU should be no worse than 9-3 in the regular season.

Now the top two are obvious cupcakes, and if anybody paid attention, LA Tech is the team in a huge rebuilding year. They don't have the depth of talent nor do they have the defensive help to replace all that they lost. Plus losing Tony Petersen (a very underrated OC), will cause a huge slide back.
