Seems with the announcement of Hart stepping down.. some folks are jonesing for Fulmer to be back on campus. How are you Tn fans feeling about this? I think it would go swimmingly personally.

Blackburn should be the AD

The guy from UTC?

That's him. He has experience, has Tennessee ties, successfully managed the Kiffin fiasco, etc. He will, or at least should be, the first one offered.

As an AD, who can he stab in the back like he did Johnny Majors?

David Blackburn is the first call.

Give me Blackburn or Charles Davis. I wouldn't mind seeing the Battle Captain in some figurehead role similar to what Spurrier is doing at Florida

Sayonora Butch.. Krispy Kreme returns to the coaches office.

He'd be fantastic, he's made great hires down there.

He has been great. UTC's athletic program has been absolute money as of late.
Fulmer may do a good job, but Blackburn has already proven himself as an AD.

I agree completely. Give Fulmer a position similar to what Spurrier has to live out the rest of his days and then take a serious look at Blackburn, Davis, etc. and move forward.

It's Blackburns to lose, at least it should be.

Most of the MegaReds want him

First and foremost super stoked Hart is leaving. Not a fan.
Fulmer would be OK if he got enough experience from the ETSU project he's been working on.
1. Blackburn would be a good safe choice making most happy.
2. Fulmer if he got the business experience.
That's really it.
Throwing Charles Davis in this convo is dumb. Only reason is cause he's a well spoken black guy with UT ties. He has no experience running a business the size of The UTAD. Where Fulmer lacks too, but has started to work on it to be in place to replace Hart. May be happening to soon for him.
I'd say Dooley should be written down somewhere on the list if for some reason option 1 and 2 fall thru, but that bridge was torched with a nuke. Ha.

That's him. Also the guy that used to kick bammer's arse on an almost yearly basis. And got them in trouble with the NCAA on top of that.

Let's also not forget about Hart's son at SMU. This will depend on how Jones does this year. UT has a solid+ year then Hart's son could be a decision to keep his dad's legacy in place. If butch's seat starts to get warm to hot+ then it'll be interesting for sure.
I'd rather not go thru the issue we had with Dooley when Hart came in, and Hart clearly didn't support him publicly. Allowing the Legion of the Miserable take the reigns sacrificing field success.
Will be interesting for sure...

Either would be good for you guys. Fulmer would take it in a second I'm sure, as would Blackburn.
