Dumb post is dumb. If Smith transferred to Tech, he wouldn't have played all this out in the media and most Bama fans would thank him for his time as a ROLE player on 2 SEC title teams and a national title team. He wasn't some vital cog.
He didn't try to go to Tech though and when he didn't get what he wanted he played this out in the media in attempt to have A) the school that gave him a free education and a chance to showcase his abilities leveraged into what he wants and B) force the conference to alter the rules b/c he doesn't like them.
Bama fans' collective thoughts and responses on this situation are directly influenced by the choices that Smith has made.
