Just out of curiosity, and asking for your opinion...do you think the other teams did that to try to give their own defenses a rest and to slow the tempo of the game down, or were they REALLY that bad?

Both. Sometimes so bad that they couldn't even slow down the game.

Giving up 600 rushing yards is really that bad. No matter why the other team was running the ball.
