Anchors of the O-line, center.

Thought Pocic was moving to OT? I hope he doesn't because he was absolutely terrible at center

To be fair, isn't that just one part of a unit?

ok
Two-year starter on the offensive line with 25 career starts (16 at center, 9 at right guard) … Has recorded an incredible 216 knockdown blocks in his first three years as a Tiger, including 132.5 as a junior.

true, pretty big part of that unit though.

In these publications you speak of I saw three different all american teams.
There was only one DB from either bama or LSU that was named first team on any of the three. His name is Jamal Adams and he is named first team on all three. T White made second team CB on at least one. No bama CB listed as second team all american.
As for their three all SEC teams, two of the three had Adams and White as first team. One of the three had Adams first team with White second team. bama safety was only tide DB named to all three first or second team.
I can see why you think so poorly of LSU secondary.
Which of the two secondaries do you think returns more passes defended per game?
One of those mags had Dupre and Dural listed as the #3 and #4 draft eligible WRs in the country.
If I remember correctly it took a personal best FG right before half to give bama the lead.
What last year showed was that bama had the deeper roster. With all the losses by the tide on both sides of the ball the same can't be said for this year.

And yet Harris still had more passing yards per game than dodd.

Good lord people have been saying this shite every year since 2009 and it's become apparent that Alabama are not the norm in this regard. There is next to no drop off year by year with them, there is absolutely 0 reason to expect them to drop off by any noticeable margin, especially when their defense returns a ton.

Center is position, not a unit. Bama's Oline will be better than LSU's.
LSU fans are so delusional. I remember the posts about having the best O-line in the SEC then November came.
DBU= 10th in passer efficiency.
LF1.6 = not even invited to New York.
The reality is LSU is a stale program with a lame duck coach who has won the west 1 time in 8 years despite this huge "talent" advantage.

As a freshman Minkah Fitzpatrick had better stats than White who was a junior last year.
Fitzpatrick led in tackles, tackles for loss, sacks, interceptions and PD. He was just a freshman

Bateman may or may not be the QB. Either way, the Bama staff has proven they can develop a QB...something the LSU staff has repeatedly failed at.
All of them were senior QBs. Put one of your sophomore QBs out there and let's see how well big bad Bama does. You would be lucky to win 9 games with your sophomore QBs.

The talent has never been the question at LSU when it comes to playing Alabama, it boils down to coaching. Les is too stubborn to beat Saban because he has his mind made up that he is going to run the ball down Alabama's throat and that is never going to happen. LSU or anybody else is not going to run the ball consistently against a Nick Saban defense without mixing in some other offense to open up the run.
LF is the best RB in the country and he had about 32 years against the tide. Les needs sot learn offense.

eddie jackson had double digit starts in '14.
If harrison was a first year starter in '15 then LSU has SIX returning starters in the secondary.

I agree with this 100%. Les wants to constantly focus on running against Bama. Bama is built to shut down the run and Saban know how. The only teams that give Bama (and Saban) fits is a fast paced passing friendly offense. That's why OM has beaten them 2 times in a row. Sabans weakness is a passing game, especially a fast paced one where he can't constantly swap players in and out to get the best match ups.

bama and saban history says otherwise.
The last three times bama and saban ('14, '12 and '10) returned five or few starters on "D" their points given up per game and total defense per game increased.

He also played in 25% more games.
If you were a QB or OC who would you test. The Jr projected to be a 1st round pick or the freshman?
