Harvard used to be a college football power as well.
Look, I would ignore the last 11 years as well if I were a Tennessee fan. The last decade shows a clear decline for Tennessee and a clear rise for Mizzou.

UT leads in national championships, conference championships, total wins, win %, bowl appearances, bowl win %, all americans, nfl draft picks, weeks ranked, and weeks at #1, most of those by a large margin.
Mizzou leads a 4 game series 3-1.
You'll have to forgive me (and 99% of other people) for thinking UT is the better football program.
