Sly Croom.

The man deserves no recognition. He was horrible and bitter and just an all around bad person, but most SEC fans liked him.

Dumbest thing I've seen all week, and I've spent most of my time on the Poli board.

Sly Croom

I remember when ESPN did a show called "50 States in 50 days". The Mississippi episode was hosted by Mark May. At the end of the episode, May was asked who was the all time greatest coach in Mississippi history. He said Sylvester Croom! Sly was in his 2 season at Miss State and had won a total of 6 games. He should've said Vaught but I expected him to say Jackie Sherrill because he used to play for him at Pitt. I couldn't believe it. Mark May's bias about anything Ole Miss is so obvious.

Explain to me how Croom was a bad person? Probably one of the better people that you will meet. Croom was a horrible HC. I will give you that.
