That is like arguing water is not wet. It is what it is whether you like it or not. A&M & tu are both the flagship.

You can link whatever you want all day long and nothing will change Texas is the major university in that state. A&M is a great school and joining the SEC has really helped them, whenever you ask people off the street no one who isn't an A&M fan or graduate is going to think they are the "flagship" university of Texas. That's in Austin.
