Yeah that is the weird part, his whole goal is to prove to the world we are liars without realizing that the world doesn't mind a little embellishment when it comes to college football.

I mean, no one has died in Clemson's stadium. The Iron Bowl doesn't involve iron. No one at Texas thinks hexes actually work. I could keep going but it's ridiculous.

I will give him credit, his insanity has made him (in)famous among Aggies which means the recognition he has wanted has only come from the group that he despises. It's a sweet irony.

He doesn't understand college football. It's like he's autistic and can't grasp nuances.

The nuance to college football is that boasting, embellishing and slight exaggeration around certain aspects of lore or history, normally to be understood with tongue in cheek, along with hokey traditions, sayings, etc. are all just part of the experience, and everyone who is into it understands that about it and thinks that sort of thing is part of the fun and pageantry. It's not to be taken that seriously. It's color and pomp.

Unless you are a weird autistic jihadist who devotes years to disproving certain things of this sort about a rival institution that nobody was really that concerned about the veracity of in the first place, and most people assumed was just part of slightly BS campus lore anyway, only to have other people show that it's in fact mostly true. Which is another great irony about him and his life's work.

If he weren't so obsessed with A&M, just think of the work he could do debunking the stories of Pecos Bill.
