Going under the knife tomorrow for what's believed to be testicular cancer. Not something I thought I would be dealing with in my 20s, but Dr. is saying we caught it early so prognosis is good.

Any thoughts and prayers would be appreciated. Haven't been through a surgery like this before so I'm pretty anxious and just want it gone.

Go Vols!

Thanks man, and will do. I'll be on the board a lot more over the next week or so since I'll be recovering for a week or two

Supra, my first cousin had testicular cancer in his 20s and went through the same thing. Even though it's scary as hell, if doc says they caught it in time you should be good. Will definitely be sending you thoughts and prayers.

Update: I'm home and recovering. Doctor said everything went very well. Blood work has also come back looking good too.

Going for another CT on Monday to follow up, but as of now, I'm feeling very positive.

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers, I really appreciate it.

Great news man

If you don't mind telling me how did you even figure out that something was going on? Certainly not something you would expect at our age

Sounds like you have a great attitude and if that questions too personal I certainly understand, again

Nah it's not too personal. Doctor said I'm the perfect age for this actually. It's the most common cancer in men between 18-30. Doesn't get discussed much because well, you can probably guess.

I had a lump in my left breast after being on Prednisone for a bad allergic reaction about a month or so ago.

Thought that might've been something bad but it was benign (it's called Gynoclomastia) and they thought it was because of the Prednisone and some of its side effects.

However, they said to check myself more because Gynoclomastia can also be a sign of testicular cancer. So, a few weeks later I checked and felt a little bump. Knew it in my gut that something was wrong so we went to the ER and saw the urologist two days later.

And the rest is history...

Wow

Well I really don't have words for that but it's kind of scary, at least you seem to have caught it early and everything sounds ok so far

I can't wait for you to get banned so we can have a "RegalVol22" or some shite
