That failed after college- van Tiffin. Wasn't a kick he couldn't make from any distance or angle. Never missed an extra point in college career. Have no clue how he wasn't an all pro for 15 years.
Never made it through college- Steve Christopher. Qb from anniston. First ever true duel threat I ever saw. Passed for close to 3000 and ran for 1000 in 89. Showed up at Bama with Jay barker and flat thought he would be handed the job and got an attitude when he found out he had to actually win the job. Also, his "boys" were a bad influence on him.
