Tray Blackmon is one of the best football players I've ever seen. Sadly, he was suspended at Auburn and also missed time for injury, I think. Would've made a badass weak side linebacker in time, and would've gotten all the right coaching under Will Muschamp and Tommy Tuberville. He ended up leaving his junior year and playing in some other league not named the NFL.

Tray Blackmon

He was an absolute freak and I was one of his biggest fans, but he was like 5'11" 220. So even with his head on straight and his health in tact he would have realistically still had his work cut out for him to make it in the NFL

ETA:

13 yr old me in 2004 was positive Junior Rosegreen was going to be an all-time great NFL safety. Physically he had every needed to do it too, but mentally... well, his name is still mentioned around combine time as a legendarily bad Wonderlic score

I remember watching Blackmon's film out of high school and thinking he might be a once in a generation type college linebacker. Reminded me a lot of Ray Lewis. Never followed him during college and kinda forgot about him to be honest. Sad to see that much talent go to waste.
