surprised this topic keeps coming up, they both are large football stadiums, splitting hairs on that front.
average CU fan won't lose sleep if people think it is the 'real' death valley. i never call it that, i call it clemson stadium or memorial stadium.
in context of the surrounding scenery, death valley makes more sense for a college in foothills of mountains than a college in a flat bayou area. imagine florida choosing to call their stadium death valley rather than the swamp.
the rock on the hill at clemson is from the death valley in California
