Your quote below indicates otherwise.

Let's quit acting like coaches are there for morals. They are paid millions of dollars to win football games and nothing else.

Actually...the only reason people are on their "soap boxes" and "High Horses" in this thread is because a MSU fan started the thread.

If the heat is too much on the Rant when stuff like this happens, avoid this place for a few days. Don't start threads about it. (Not you, Skirpnasty, I realize you didn't make the thread)

The reason he beat that poor poor girl is because he committed to MsState. The players are allowed to do whatever they want there. Mullen knows that Star Power overrides his authority so he just lets them do whatever they want. Look at Jamal Peters and Leo Lewis. Those guys barely even show up to practice and when they do they don't try. Simmons realized he was invincible when he signed with State. Had is been Bama, where Saban is a strict leader, or Ole Miss, where Freeze is a moral man, Simmons would not have committed this horrendous act.

Seriously? From and Ole Miss fan? That's kind of like a Tennessee fan lecturing everybody on sexual assault. You might be an expert on the subject, but it just feels wrong, you know?

Freeze (allegedly) violated the rules of his profession, rules he has agreed to abide by. Mullen hasn't done anything wrong. It isn't Mullen's responsibility to decide upon the severity of an event, that's why we have a judicial system. It was ruled misdomeaner simple assault, the player has been punished by our justice system accordingly.

IF a university takes any action at all, it should be in line with the crime that was decided upon by our judicial system. It was misdomeaner simple assault and shouldn't be looked at as anything else.

I honestly don't think he should be suspended at all, that isn't the job of a university. We have government systems to handle criminal offenses. Any team discipline should be handled 100% internally.

Wait where did it state he was involved or charged?

Personally I don't know all the facts but to say someone committed when you have nothing stating he was even accused is crazy. And just because you can't find the facts you want doesn't mean you don't need them.

Mullen violated the rules of his profession then played the player who he paid the past two seasons. I'm glad too because could you imagine the what the score would have been if Redmond hadn't played against us?

I knew it was sarcasm. I just thin it was a bit ineffective coming from an Ole Miss fan on that particular subject.

Good god you sensitive ole miss babies need to quit the whining in every thread. MSU I lost a ton of respect for your coach after watching that video, jesus that guy should be in the pen not on the field. He may be the first player I've ever wished injury upon.

Redmond didn't play against you last year. And Mullen, as far as I'm aware, wasn't connected with any of the Redmond incident. We self reported and Redmond sat 1.5 years. For reference, that's an entire year more than Tunsil, who received more benefits.

The kid literally missed a year and a half of eligibility over purchasing a used mustang for $1,000 under its estimated worth.

During none of this did Mullen cover it up or show indication of repeated or systematic offenses.

You should look deeper into the situation. And wishing injury on an 18 year old kid who made a single mistake is pretty bad man, it isn't like he plays for Ole Miss.

"Rivals.com first disclosed Penn State has decided against recruiting Myles Hartsfield, a senior at Sayreville who verbally committed to the university. Hartsfield planned to sign a letter of intent in the coming months, MyCentralJersey.com reported.

Police have not released the names of the seven juveniles ages 15 to 17 who were charged over the weekend in connection with the hazing, according to NJ.com. However, police were spotted at Hartsfield’s residence on Friday night shortly before the announcement of formal charges against the teenagers."

Accept it. You are a fan of the trashiest school with the trashiest coach and you promote men beating defenseless women. To make it worse he is an even bigger liar than Hugh Freeze. When he said that MSU would never lose to Ole Miss again he actually meant they would lose 3 of the next 4.
