It probably hasn't helped the offense that they've had three offensive coordinators already under Stoops. It's Barker's time to put up or shut up at QB with Towels gone though and he has plenty of run support with Kemp and Boom (which I think is where Gran will shine the most at OC). The defense has improved but the stats don't show it as much because the offense left them out there all day. We'll see.
It really all hinges on Barker, the WRs hanging onto the ball (I'd argue that lost us the game against UF last season), and Boom staying healthy.

Probably less than five posters and lurkers combined care enough about Kentucky to read all of that.

I'm not sure if Stoops is they guy for Kentucky but the next guy will definitely have some good pieces to work with.

In your opinion is it Stoops or the AD that can't hang on to OCs? Its not like Kentucky has been dead in the water the last few years, y'all have started off hot and then collapsed.
Not to throw shade on Kentucky... but y'all should have gone bowling the last two years.

quote:New OC Eddie Gran is actually the third. I believe he'll pan out fine. Their prior work experiences together should give Stoops more ease of mind about the offense. Never should have hired Dawson if he didn't trust him or agree with his strategy.

As for Towles, I hated to see him go but I don't think he was going to get us Mike Hartline results even. Barker has tremendous upside, hopefully having Hinshaw on staff and dedicated to QBs will pay big dividends in his development.
