Florida/Georgia Tickets: What to expect...

My grandparents are sending my dad and I off this year to a game of our liking. They're footing the bill for tickets, rooms, and gas.
My question to the people that have experienced this game, where's the cheapest place to get tickets and the best hotel within walking distance so I can get wasted and walk back and forth from room to stadium. I don't want to break my grandparents bank, however.

Stub Hub for tickets, not cheap place to get them, unless UG is having a crappy season. Hotels close to the stadium have been booked for a year. Best bet is to stay at the beach or in south Georgia.

If I don't use mine I will be selling 2 at face value.

if they're in the lower level (club) sideline face is $110.

How to people obtain these before putting them in Stub Hub?

Let me know on this board if you choose not to go I'll be interested in them.
I'll shoot you an email.

Same way you get them for any game, through your schools allotment for season ticket holders.
Idk how it works at UF, but at UGA we have a point system over a patron's lifetime (1 point = $1). You are assigned seats at both home games and in Jax based on your point priority. The people with high priority are the ones first in line to get club level tickets in jax.

Went ahead and settled for the LSU game this year. Never been to this one. Hopefully it's a night game and doesn't disappoint.

Gator ticket office or a booster.
I'm a booster and buy 2 every year. I figure if I don't go somebody will buy them at face value.

I went to the LSU night game in 2010, which was the craziest atmosphere I've ever seen for a UF game. Everyone was so pissed it was called a lateral on the fake FG rather than a forward pass.
I also went to the LSU afternoon game in 2012. That game was a fricking swamp. Literally. People were passing out all over the place. Hottest game I've ever been to.

So, I got a refund on my LSU tickets before the new date was announced. Ended up getting some tickets to the WLOCP. What is there to do and what is the traveling to the stadium like? Buses?

You can watch all the drunk coeds barf outside the stadium, it isnt called the WLOCP by accident.
