The problem is the NCAA spent 100 hours with Miller and access to phones and bank accounts. What they found was a booster paid 800 dollars and 8 night free lodging at a hotel and Tunsil admitted to sleeping staying at a coaches house for two nights. This is absolutely not like the USC case. The majority of the penalties will be similar to ULL and maybe a couple of more scholarships. Ole Miss has already spent 1.5 million in legal fees and I will guarantee you the NCAA knows this and absolutely does not want the public to see them lose another legal battle. Also the SEC does not want a bowl ban. Not saying ole miss doesn't deserve it, but from what they have found and can document, if they try to give ole miss a bowl ban, this will turn into a legal battle. Bowl ban will not happen. There not enough here for a bowl ban.

Even if that's all it is, it still looks as though it was orchestrated via the coaches/AD. That does not bode well for OM.

The "Closet Rebel" knows all. I think a bowl ban does happen, and it might be a two year ban. What grounds could Ole Miss sue against the bowl ban? As stated in previous posts USC got a two year for things very similar, but school officials weren't involved. In reality, I couldn't care less what happens. I just want you to admit you are a Rebel fan instead of hiding it.

what legal case does ole miss have when a university agrees to become part of the NCAA? you agree to their terms, rules and regulations and your university votes on the legislation.

What are you some expert in punishment that can result in bowl bans? How do you know there isn't enough evidence to get a bowl bans.....oh wait you don't.
