The growth of Austin is for two reasons the location and UT.
The culture and the research industry created from the university is what brings people to Austin
It is only about 30 years ago that Austin was not that large of a city
austin is the ugliest city i've google streetviewed. and UT is ugliest campus i've google streetviewed, or tied with like 10 others.

I googled Clemson and saw on street view that some of your buildings are dirty. What an ugly campus.
