Malik, Lodge, Little, Hudson, even Daylon and kyler... all that went down before the QB transfer stuff became a problem. And it all stemmed from an inability to produce on the field and control things off.
Auburn is just as conservative as A&M, and they're miles ahead of us as a program, because they understand big boy football. They make plenty of dumb decisions just like we do, but they don't get cheap and pucker up with things get tough.

Fair enough. I can't deny more win 2013-2015 would have us in better shape right now.

Meh, before Cam Auburn wandered in the desert for decades with varying amounts of success. They got screwed in 2004 because no one considered them to be a "power" at the time.
I see Auburn as basically an A&M where their Johnny won a national title. Up until recently I would have also given them credit for not being as stupid with contract extensions, but given that Malzahn just got one it makes me question how much they understand "big boy football."
