They'll never admit it but a part of it has to be because Vandy is so good at it. This narrative really ramped up after Vandy won their title.

That's the same reason Vol fans aren't big supporters of Women's Bowling, too.

yeah, it's gotten more and more vocal the longer it's been since they've made the NCAAT. But you can bet your arse Lindsey Nelson Stadium was packed to the brim when they were in the supers in 2004.
