Well, he's in his 5th consecutive 6 year elected term. He's got 4 years left on this term, which he won as an unopposed candidate. I'd say after being in his current role in his current location for 26 years, the people who elect him either A) know exactly who he is and elect him b/c they agree with who he is, or B) haven't paid attention for 26 years and aren't going to start now.

Either way, he's 69 years old. I doubt he'll be in the role more than 4 more years.
