Yeah, it's just natural for fans to see something out of sorts when it's another team's players but not when it's their own. I have no inside info but it appears that there was a problem with the search so the evidence wouldn't be admissible. The DA actually made it look worse by his air conditioning statement...if he'd just left it at insufficient evidence, it still would've looked out of sorts but nowhere near as bad as that statement made it. DAs are not dumb folks, so I think that had to be a calculated statement...

I was also surprised to find out so late that there were 4 people in the car...and that the other 2 were not arrested. Don't know why that wasn't in the initial report. Not saying Cam & Hootie were innocent by any means, but with 4 folks in the car, I don't see how you can arrest only 2 and let the other 2 go...
