Nah. Auburn also had Fairley, an extremely good and experienced OL, and nearly 30 seniors to lean on and we still barely won with a FG as time expired.

The West was weak that year, but without Cam-led AU to take out Bama and LSU and a pretty good Arky team, it's not a given they would've won the division. However if they did they definitely would've beaten a weak South Carolina team. Even if they do win the SEC with Cam that year I think they would've slipped up and not made the BCSNCG. Auburn had a better supporting cast for Cam IMO and still had several close calls. If they had managed to still make the BCSNCG Oregon would've beaten them, Cam plays like an actual human in title games and again AU with a better team barely won.

Y'all beat us that year by a field goal and that was only because our WR dropped at TD at the end of that game.

You take away Cam and our team was so much better than yours. I'll take your Fairly and raise you a Fletcher Cox. Dude would have won awards had he not been at MSU. We also had an actually secondary including a corner who would go on to win the Thorpe award.

State had a much better team if you took away the QBs.

The SEC West was weak in 2010? Surely you jest... That may have been the strongest it has ever been.
