Leaving for western VA in the morning for a few days. Going for a wedding, but going to get a day of trout fishing in. Never done it before so I'm pumped.

I turned 45 last week and I can still get it up without pharmaceutical assistance so life is pretty good.

Fished Pickwick this weekend. It was tough for us. Not good on the offshore stuff. Need to get one of the newest and most expensive Hummingbirds and learn how to use it. I had a small limit. Caught em burning a swimbait on an 8:1 reel.

Welp I am enjoying a small batch bourbon from woodinville whiskey company. a local Seattle based distiller. Good shite. I bought two bottles last time in was in the PNW.
meantime, am getting amped up for a trip to Great Falls Montana to spend a week fly fishing, shooting guns, eating steaks and generally fricking off.
