Hell, doesn't AU offer instate tuition to some HS student from Georgia?

Hell no. It would be nice.
I think there actually is an exception to HOPE if you go out-of-state to a school that offers a major not available in one of the Georgia schools. Maybe something in the bovine field!

Last I heard, and that was last yr before the SEC Spring meetings, Saban is the only SEC coach who wants a 9 game schedule. None of the others want it, let alone are pushing for it. But as for bama having to possibly play AU twice, with the gator's resurgence, LSU is facing the possibility of having to play them twice, which has been one of LSU's main gripes.

At one time there was some obscure law or rule that allowed Auburn to offer in state tuition to certain Georgia residents. I want to say that the official place of residence had to be within a 50 mile radius of the Auburn campus, so that really limited it a small swatch of Harris and Troup Counties.

Not sure if that law/rule is still in place.
